Ginger Bakery is newly opened in Wan Chai. Saw the great pictures and fabulous comments on openrice.com regarding the crunch cake, so I ordered one for friend C’s birthday. Unfortunately, it was a disappointment. The crunch cake is very different from the ones I had from other places. The sponge cake was a bit hard and the lemon flavor was a lil weird for me. Also, the cake was way too soggy. Isn’t crunch cake supposed to go soft?
